Summary of Position:

As a Private Wealth Consultant, you will focus on relationship management to support our Financial Advisors, Mortgage Agents, Investment Specialists and affluent clients seeking integrated wealth management and banking solutions. You will also be given the opportunity to manage both sides of your clients’ balance sheets with risk management and investment products, including a broad range of proprietary and non-proprietary products. As you develop, you will leverage your financial services and private client experience to help deliver value-added services with clients with increasing personal net worth, which require more complex, specialized, or greater variety of wealth management techniques.

Duties:

  • Be a part of the extended CWF Family and enjoy superior agent resources, sales & marketing support, training & development programs, superior back office support, licensing and contracting support;
  • Benefit from the long-term mentorship of top leaders in the industry;
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships in order to meet customer needs and objectives;
  • Provides and identifies credit, investment, and transaction solutions based on a proactive identification of the member need and in line with the member’s goals. Uses sound judgment, analysis, interviewing, planning and underwriting skills to present viable solutions within guidelines
  • Provides investment advice and identifies the appropriate solution including registered and non-registered investment solutions that fit and meet our clients’ needs
  • Ensures investment and mortgage renewals are acted upon according to timelines and renewal dates.
  • Actively participates in all branch activities and campaigns in order to achieve branch and individual objectives.
  • Identifies external opportunities to build and develop business within the community to optimize client and portfolio results.
  • Develops a suite of “centers of influence” outside the Company in order to support referrals and business development activity. This can include builders, real estate agents/brokers, lawyers, accountants and contacts built through local service clubs and associations
  • Refers to commercial credit opportunities to the Commercial Credit Loans
  • Resolves problems at first point of contact where possible and escalates more complex client concerns to the appropriate specialist.
  • Manages and provides oversight to the team in the absence of the manager
  • Achieves or exceeds sales and activity targets as assigned

 

Required:

  • Valid and active Life Insurance License, Mortgage Agent License and completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is a requirement of this role
